The upper part is a hollow teardrop frame made of sterling silver, decorated with round white diamonds along the outside edge. The diamonds are set with prongs and are evenly spaced. The topaz is attached to the bottom point of the hollow teardrop using a small silver loop. The topaz is set in place by three prongs at its pointed end. The entire pendant, including the prongs, chain, loop, and any connecting parts, is coated in silver. The cable chain goes through a hidden loop at the top, just above the hollow teardrop, which gives it a smooth appearance. This loop allows the pendant to slide easily onto the chain.
